I think I have already made myself clear on the fact that I adore spring. It is the most perfect season of the year. One of things I cherish most when it comes to spring is the undeniably gorgeous spring fashion. Every year we are bombarded with interesting, we'll-probably-regret-this-in-fall trends, for example the  sartorial return of the Birkenstock. However, the heavens did bless us with some lavish fashions for the lavish season. Kimonos, camis and cropped knits are definitely some of my favourites. Pair any of the above with a pair of boyfriend jeans, sneakers and pastel accessories and consider me, your number one style fan. And the best way to tie all of these stunning garments together, is with a  eye-catching, statement making necklace.

You might be thinking, "What?! Sneakers, boyfriend jeans and loose flowing kimonos, I'll look like a boy!", but fret not. The most beautiful thing about all of these masculine, baggy pieces, is that the colour palette for spring is ultra feminine. Baby blue, blush, pastel green and lilac are everywhere, transforming the somewhat androgynous look into a springtime fairy.

As the weather gets hotter, skin gets tanner, and school days gets shorter, summer is finally arriving. After a tedious winter the warm breeze in the atmosphere and a shining sun is utterly refreshing. Every year this glorified season rolls up unexpectedly, and we are left with nothing to wear. So here is a list of my personal essentials, to stay prepared for this summer.

1. Cami Top - Recently the cami has been a staple feature in every high street. Layered under a loose knit on a cool summers evening or paired with high waisted shorts, cami tops are a must-have for everyone this season.

2. The Perfect Sunnies - Sunglasses are a must in summer time, while the sun blazes down onto our defenceless eyes. I was recently gifted my dream sunnies, the Clubmaster's by Ray Ban. For a more in depth look into this seasons hottest shades check out this post!

3. Statement Skirts/ Shorts - A statement bottom can make and outfit come to life. Monochrome and stripes have been huge trends this year, combined into one they make the perfect bold piece to dress up or down.

4. Sandals - I cannot stress how important sandals are in the summer months. They are the quintessential shoe for summer. Be it heeled, flat, gladiator, or minimalistic, sandals are great for giving a look just the right amount of charm.

5. Bold Accessories - A neon necklace or a crazy pair of earrings are the best way to put together a simple t-shirt-and-jeans combo that we all have undoubtably worn during summer.

6. Summer Fragrance - In this day and age looking good doesn't cut it, you have to smell good too. So grab a light and flirty scent that fits perfectly to your summer wardrobe.

7. Bright Nails - Bright nails have forever been a summer staple. Every year I stock up on a bold red or an eye-catching neon to spruce up a boring look.

8. The Cross-Body - A cross-body hand bag is ideal for everyday wear. From the theme park to a candle lit dinner, small bags are totally the new black.

Styling crop tops

Spring is finally starting to show its true colours, after snows in March and below freezing weather entering April. Crop tops are the epitome of careless, warm weather fashion. Whether you should find yourself relaxing in the Hampton's or venturing into a beautiful European city this Spring break, a crop top can be your best friend.  Crop tops can often be perceived as tacky, disrespectful, and even "slutty", but only because many don't know how to style these versatile tops so below are a few tips on how to compliment your outfits.

Crop tops are famous for being the ideal, carefree clothing item for the beach. This first look showcases the fun and young side of a crop top. Frolicking around a tropical island on a beach paved with white sand in a crop top and denim cut offs is the embodiment of a teenage Spring break. Paired with a beaded clutch and thong sandals, you have a paradisiacal crop top outfit. 

Crop tops can often be perceived as risqué, due to the revealed midriff, however the outfit above shows that crop tops can be elegant and sophisticated. If you aren't very comfortable showing too much skin, a high waisted skirt can come to your rescue. White and yellow, a combination seen at Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer '13, is a surprisingly dynamic union of colours. There is a certain air of class in this outfit, that is often not associated to crop tops, but is exactly what makes this outfit perfect for a stop by at a Parisian café during the Spring months.
These are only a few examples and there are endless of ways on styling crop tops, as long as you do it right and make sure you don't look too uncomfortable or tacky by taking into account what you are dressing for.

Wine.

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a great day! Today I went out shopping with my cousins and we had a great time but the weather was so random today, it was rainy and sunny and cold and all over the place. I decided to go with a simple, polished outfit today. I wore my new wine/plum (tell me what color you think these are in the comments!)  jeans from Topshop. This is from when I went to a beautiful fjord in Norway, in May. The weather was sunny but there was a cold breeze. The view was stunning, absolutely breath taking. We went to visit an old family friend and it was great! Now that I'm in cold and rainy England for summer holidays I kinda miss the warm sun! I really loved how this outfit mixed the girlyness of the floral, frilly top and the masculinity of the army green parka.
